The GPA-to-percentage worksheet divides the reported GPA by its scale maximum and multiplies that ratio by 100.

Example: 7.8 out of 10
For GPA records, a proportional estimate is 7.8 ÷ 10 × 100 = 78%.
Some universities use a multiplier or grade bands instead. The transcript key or official conversion certificate outranks this estimate.

Do not assume every 10-point system is identical
Two institutions can both report CGPA out of 10 while using different pass marks, rounding rules and course weights. Preserve the institution name and original CGPA in any working note.

For GPA records, use the estimate to compare scenarios or complete a planning worksheet. For an application, use the formula named by the receiving institution or an accepted credential evaluator.
